This is a Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" number Y-9 (1912 Simplex) made by Lesney Toys in England. The casting is from 1969, but the exterior color, plastic diorama and packaging are from 1986. Simplex is an "orphan" automobile brand from Long Island, New York. The product was NOS (New Old Stock) from Model Empire, Inc. which has excellent service.
